Wisconsin Women = Prosperity – Regional Solutions Network Formation Invitation to Core Conveners

Lieutenant Governor Barbara Lawton has requested that we identify key leaders in each of 12 regions of the state to help develop innovative Regional Solutions Network that can leverage and connect existing women-power. This network of networks will drive solutions to the issues defined in the Status of Women Report and further clarified in 13 Open Forums Barbara convened throughout the state last year. By focusing the attention of existing problem solvers and raising our voices together we will multiply the results of our many efforts toward establishing positive change. To do this we need to have a broad base of women representing each region of our state at the Wisconsin Women Forward Convention on March 22 (see attachment). Lt. Governor Lawton has requested your assistance to develop the network at the convention and beyond.

If you are interested in becoming a Core Convener an organizational meeting for core conveners will take place at:

The Holiday Inn in Fond du Lac
 Saturday, February 12
10a.m. to 2p.m.

Please respond to one of our Leaders below for more information. And please register (and spread the word) for the Wisconsin Women Forward 2005 statewide Convention in Madison on March 22nd.
